Fairgrounds Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort

In an effort to aid in NYC Hurricane Sandy disaster relief efforts, a drop-off center will be located on the Allentown Fairgrounds just inside GATE #3 (19th & Chew Streets entrance). Items that are in DIRE need: Bottled & gallons of water, C & D batteries, flashlights, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning rags, cleaning supplies, bleach, laundry supplies, garbage bags (all sizes), toiletries, feminine products, baby supplies, diapers, blankets, hand warmers, socks, gloves & hats, work gloves, rubber gloves, goggles & safety glasses, hand sanitizer, dish detergent, rakes & shovels, mops & brooms. Volunteers from Lehigh Law Enforcement Officers Association will be on hand to collect these items on Thursday 10am – 6pm, Friday 10am – 7pm & Saturday 9am – 4pm.
